A data protection officer has not been appointed, as the requirements of Article 37 GDPR in conjunction with Section 38 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) are not currently met.

2. Principles

We process personal data only within the framework of the statutory provisions. Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

This website is deliberately designed to be data-minimal:

• No cookies are set.
• No external fonts are loaded. All fonts are hosted on our server.
• No external scripts, trackers or advertising networks are embedded.
• No profiling and no automated decision-making take place.
• No social media plug-ins are used; references to external sites are simple links.

3. Visiting the website (server log files)

When you visit this website, your browser transmits technically necessary data that our hosting provider stores in log files:

• shortened or complete IP address of the requesting device
• date and time of access
• name and URL of the file retrieved
• amount of data transferred and access status
• browser type and operating system used
• previously visited page (referrer), if transmitted

Purpose: delivery of the website, ensuring system security and stability, and analysis of technical errors.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free and secure operation of this website.
Storage period: deletion after 30 days at the latest, unless a security-relevant incident requires longer retention.

4. Hosting

This website is hosted by a service provider within the European Union. The provider processes the data listed under section 3 on our behalf. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and efficient provision of our website.

5. Contacting us

5.1 Contact form

If you send us an enquiry via the contact form, we process the data you provide: name, company, email address, optionally phone number, topic, optional budget information and your message.

Purpose: handling your enquiry and any follow-up communication.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your enquiry is aimed at concluding a contract; otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries).
Storage period: deletion once your enquiry has been conclusively handled and no statutory retention obligations apply; for business correspondence usually after 6 or 10 years pursuant to Section 257 of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and Section 147 of the German Fiscal Code (AO).

The form contains an additional field invisible to humans to prevent automated submissions (spam protection). No external service such as a captcha provider is used.

5.2 Email and phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the data transmitted in order to handle your request. Legal basis and storage period correspond to section 5.1.

Please note that data transmitted by unencrypted email may be subject to security gaps. Complete protection against access by third parties is not possible.

6. Recipients of data

Your data is only passed on to third parties if this is necessary to fulfil our contractual or legal obligations. Recipients may be:

• our hosting provider (data processing pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR)
• our email service provider (data processing pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR)

We will then no longer process the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Right to lodge a complaint

8. Obligation to provide data

The provision of personal data is neither legally nor contractually required. Without the data marked as mandatory, however, we cannot process your enquiry.

9. Data security

This website is delivered exclusively via an encrypted connection (TLS/HTTPS). We also use technical and organisational measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or unauthorised access.

10. Changes to this privacy policy

We will update this privacy policy as soon as changes to the website or to the procedures used require it. The version available on this page applies.
